Dr. Mohd Hairy Ibrahim, is a Associate Professor on Climate Studies and Physical Geography. He joint the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia since 2003 and currently is a Dean of Faculty Human Sciences, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environment, Facultyof Human Sciences, UPSI Tanjong Malim. He also having experience of academician almost 20 years in the field of Physical geography and climate changes. He received his first degree (Hons) from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, M. Environmental Management  and PhD from National University of Malaysia. He is a commited, efficient and resourceful researcher with urban climate changes research. He having more experiences in international conference at around the world as at Vienna, Amsterdam, London, Rome, Moscow, Seoul, Kyoto, Okayama, Thailand, Bali, India and more in Southeast Asia. He also having experiences in more than 10 keynote speakers about Climate Changes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and more than 10 Guest Lecture also Visiting Profesor at Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Indonesia and International Attachment Lecturer Programme at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. He has published more than 50 journal papers including 30 are indexed by ISI and SCOPUS, 5 books and chapter in book and 50 proceedings in national and international conferences. His publications are on urban climate, climate changes and climate data integration, environmental management and disaster and Sustainable Development Goals. In 2019, he has appointed as a Visiting Professor from Yogyakarta State University , Indonesia. He also a task force member of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and currently a member of Environmental Research Cluster, Majlis Profesor Malaysia. Since 2010, he has involved as a principle researcher and consultation works more than 20 research grants and more consultation works in Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia including major projects by Department of Meteorology Malaysia (MMD) and Government agencies. He has taught courses related to climate studies, atmosphere studied, environmental management, sustainable development and disaster  at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia To date, he has supervised and examined more than 10 PhD theses, 10 Masters  theses and more than 100 Bachelor degree. He has international academic, research and SDGs networking and collaboration around the the world through Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Networking , Malaysia, Southeast Asia and RCE, UN and SDGs Centre around the world.
